An apartment with soul and family history
For many years, it belonged to our grandparents, where our mother grew up, and where my brother and I would go every day during our elementary school lunch break, as we do in France. Their kitchen smelled of home-cooked meals, and every afternoon was filled with warmth and laughter.
After theirpassing, we inherited the family house and decided to breathe new life into the ground-floor apartment, creating a cozy retreat for travelers from around the world.
The renovation was a truly family project:
- My brother Stéphane, a handyman and the overall construction manager, single-handedly tore everything down to the bare walls and, step by step, rebuilt everything from scratch.
- My dad was the sponsor and guiding spirit behind the project; without his support, we wouldn’t have been able to complete it.
- As an IT specialist, I handled the invisible yet crucial aspects: the wiring, technology, and online presence.

For several years, every Saturday became our family tradition: working together with passion, until this apartment was born.
It is worth mentioning that most of the furniture in the apartment is original, family-owned, and has been carefully renovated and adapted to its new life – now serving travelers, giving the interior a unique, authentic character.
Today, we’re proud to share this unique place where family history meets comfort and modernity. It’s the perfect place for a short stay in Alsace – warm, functional, and lovingly crafted.
Welcome !
Stéphane, Papa & me
